Trewhella grabs are a unique product allowing a wire rope to be gripped, shortening it to exactly the length needed. Grabs are designed and tested with safety paramount - the grab is designed to be stronger than the rope it holds, so that should any failure occur, it will be in the rope and not the grab.

Grabs (or rope shorteners, or rope clamps, as they are sometimes called) are available in a range of sizes. The smallest takes wire rope from 10mm diameter.
